Image Hosting Reviews: Introduction

Posted by Doc Winters on March 16, 2009

The DocNetwork’s newest review piece, will in fact be a series of reviews as we dive deep into the murky depths of image hosting, and find out which ones make the grade, and which ones you should avoid.

We will be covering initially the major contenders in this field; Photobucket, Picassa and Flickr, as well as services provided by Windows Live et al, and a number of smaller hosting sites.
This introduction will outline the kind of information we hope to discover by putting these services to the test.

  • Overall Service Score
  • Ease of use
  • Advantages Paid vs Free
  • Usage Restrictions
  • Support
  • Layout

Each Score will be out of 10, with the total score out of 50. Once the final review is done, I will be picking the winner of this whole thing
